Cinderella is proof that a new pair of shoes can change your life. Ok ok…maybe that’s going too far. However, these shoes are pretty perfect if you ask this mommy and daughter duo! We are completely smitten with these Valentino Garavani Rockstud Slingback look-alikes!Â
Sofia has the most adorable studded flats on that are so comfy yet dressy – they are perfection. I got them from StyleChild by JL (peep them on Instagram as well). They have the best kids gear – I’m totally obsessed! My shoes have a pointed toe (like the Valentino’s) but the point starts far enough away from the toe area that they are very comfy. The heel is also the perfect height – not too high to walk and function (huge requirement for this mama) – but high enough to look and feel sassy!Â
I’ve linked my exact shoes as well as Sofia’s below. I got Sofia a size 10 and myself a size 7 – both fit true to size in my opinion. I’m sometimes between sizes (6.5 to 7) and went with a 7 to have extra toe room. You’ll also find the Valentino’s below for comparison (or if you can afford the real deal)! Lastly – there’s some very similar flats for those of you out there who want to match but don’t want the heel. Totally valid – and truthfully – sometimes really needed. These are currently in my cart!Â
My exact black dress (a FAVE – super flattering – under $100) is linked as well as other items that are very similar to ours – in case you need holiday party gear! If you snag this dress (which you totally should) – size up based on the brand (and to save a little extra room for Christmas cookies). Scroll down to shop our look, comment below with the favorite shoes you’ve ever owned, and have beautiful day!Â
So much goodness comes from my trips to Target…like my entire outfit! Yup… this whole look came from Target and is super budget friendly! The sweater is soft and fits true to size in my opinion (I’m in an XS for reference), the mules are super comfy with a squishy inside, the earrings look more expensive than they are – by far – and my jeans are only $20 and have rave reviews! The only thing in this photo that isn’t from Target is my bag (which I figure doesn’t count) – but I linked a super similar one that IS from Target so it’s still a total win!Â
Scroll down to snag this look while these cutie items are still in stock. My fave faux pumpkin (perfect since it’ll last forever) – is also from Target and matches my outfit. 😉 They have the cutest mini pumpkins available right now – along with a 25% off sale this Sat and Sun only on home decor. Look at my Instagram post ASAP for a peek at how to style these pumpkins in your home for Thanksgiving this year! Happy weekend!
This sweater and these boots have gotten a lot of questions – which is why I pulled together a quick “shop my look.” Scroll down to see my exact sweater – which is linked below and is under $20. I have already gotten so much use out of it with a black skirt (see this blog post), black jeans, blue jeans, and more. It would look so cute with a cordoroy skirt like this one! It’s so comfy and I love that it doesn’t break the bank – but looks like it cost you $$. Not to mention that the retailer who has this sweater is having a Buy 1 Get 1 50% Off SALE right now! Eeek!Â
My jeans, hat and boots are sold out – so I’ve linked very similar versions below. You’ll find similar accessories as well – along with my actual cuffed bangles which are under $15! So pretty with gold and Fall colors! Do you have a favorite leopard print item in your closet? Comment and share your thoughts! Don’t forget to have a wonderful week and happy shopping!Â
Leopard print can be intimidating, but it’s a fun trend that should be embraced! Truthfully, I look at it as a neutral, and love it! To make leopard prints more approachable, add them to your favorite black staples from your closet. I chose my favorite snap button skirt from last season, a denim moto jacket, floppy felt hat, and booties. Keep scrolling to see the same top and skirt, but in two different looks. It’s a little bit nuts how much of a difference a hat and jacket can make when spicing up your look.
Keep scrolling to peep my fave items to recreate this look! A couple of the exact items are linked (like my booties and bag), and a bunch of very similar items that I would be happy with any day of the week! Use the arrows to scroll through my top picks and have a lovely day! Yay! 🙂
Clearly I love sweaters right now – but who doesn’t? Oversized sweaters are like hugs that embrace you all day long. Cozy, soft, and comforting. Perfect to dress up or down.
I put together a quick share and “shop my look” based on the outfit above. My sweater is perfect for cooler months and runs true to size. If you want it looser or longer – size up. I’m 5’2″ and in an XS – and it’s perfect with leggings. Cozy, soft, and it comes in 5 gorgeous Fall colors. I may snag this same sweater in the other colors before they sell out! If you’re between sizes – size up for an extra cozy, easy to layer, perfectly huggable sweater for the season. Click to get it in your fave color before it’s totally sold out – sizes are going fast…it’s a little nuts!
My leggings are by far my favorites and if you’re on the hunt for a pair to get you through the year – these are it! I got my first pair full price and kept an eye out for when they were on sale (to snag another pair). I wear them all the time with sweaters, sweatshirts, tunics, flannels, dressy tops, heels, flats, and more. Beyond worth the price for how they hold you in and flatter your shape.
My booties are from the same shop as my sweater and are under $35. They are super on trend, comfy, perfect for Fall and these strange temperature shifts – and I get tons of compliments in them whenever I wear them. Beyond worth it!
You’ll also find my crossbody bag – ON SALE – and so cute! It’s soft, versatile, functional, and a total fave. It’s a classic, so you’ll get years of use out of it.
My exact outfit is linked below, as well as a ton of oversized turtleneck sweaters so you can feel cozy through Fall and Winter. Be sure to use the arrows to see everything linked below. I’m trying out a new format to see if it’s easier to scroll through the different items. Please comment and let me know what you think! Happy shopping and have a wonderful week!

Pumpkin Spice is everywhere right now! I wanted to very quickly share this cardigan because it is lightweight, the right length, and such a pretty Pumpkin Spice color. It’s also under $23 – and comes in other lovely colors. I have the same one in grey and cream, and love them. The tank is on sale for $4 (yes you read that right) and is perfect for under sweaters this season. I get super annoyed when my t-shirts bunch under cardigans, so this tank is absolutely perfect! I have it in black as well. It runs big so get your normal size if you want it to fit a little loose, or size down for a more fitted look. I’m in an XS and it’s got room but works well for Fall and layering.
I’ve linked these jeans a lot because they’re on major repeat right now in my life! So comfy and they have the perfect amount of distressing. They are a looser fit so size down if you want them a little more fitted. You can also comment on this post or DM me on Instagram and I’ll share more about the sizing. The scarf is perfect for Fall and comes in several other colors – and it’s under $10 – beyond worth it! The hat is from the same place as the cardigan and tank – so you can get all 3 for a total deal and you’ve got a complete look!Â
I decided to include the slippers because they are in the photo and I literally wear them around the house ALL DAY LONG! 🙂 I get asked about them all the time, and I’m obsessed with them. Cozy, great bottoms so you don’t slip, and super cute. Great for gifts as well! The belt is a dupe – the price is right – and you’ll get the look without spending the $$$ – #yourewelcome
Keep scrolling for my exact outfit details and have a lovely Friday! Muah!Â
I will definitely be the shoulder for my family and friends to lean on. That being said, I’ll also sport a sassy yet comfy off the shoulder top while I’m at it! 😉 Given the fact that it’s officially Fall, I’m on a mission to find fashionable and affordable attire and accessories for my readers (that’s you)!
This top is all that and more. Say hello to your coziest new friend. This off the shoulder top is sort of a tunic/sweater, is a more lightweight material (perfect for this transitional time of the year), and has a waffle sort of texture to it. It’s super comfy and flattering – and I snagged it for under $30. Yup! I told you it’s a good find! Though it’s listed as red and grey, I would say it’s not a true red and more of a soft red or reddish pink. I ordered it in a size small (I’m usually an XS) and it is perfectly oversized. I would say it is true to size for an oversized fit (if that makes sense).Â
I paired it with these amazing faux leather leggings (which I’ve linked several times before because I LOVE them), and a bralette. I linked my slippers below for lounging, and booties (similar to those pictured above) which were great for running errands. Some additional accessories are linked as well so that you can complete your look without breaking the bank. Keep scrolling and please comment with any questions. Happy to help!Â
Ok, this started out as a fashion post, but I had no choice but to add in some of my favorite cosmetics because it is a “shop my look” as well. These are the products I actually use on my face – and how I get my look. I am working on a post to share which brushes and other products I use (and like best) – but these are core when it comes to my look. Please reach out if you have any questions. You can comment on this post and DM me on my Instagram. I hope this is helpful! Enjoy and happy Fall!Â
This is it! It’s officially Fall! Yay! I’m ready for sweaters, jeans, booties, and TUNICS! The thing about tunics are they are super versatile and perfect from the beginning of Fall through Winter. When I get something new, I want it to be a good deal, and I want to get a TON of use out of it. Tunics work with jeans, leggings, tights, bare legs, booties, OTK boots, mules, and more. There are fancy tunics, off the shoulder tunics, slouchy and ultra cozy tunics, and more.Â
I found a comfy and super versatile tunic that comes in olive, black and ivory – perfect shades for Fall. It can easily be dressed up or down, thrown on with tights and boots, or layered with a great scarf and jacket. It runs big in my opinion but in a good way. I ordered a small and it has room. I didn’t size down because I want it to be loose and have the extra length to go with tights. It’s also under $16 so you can literally get all 3 colors! Keep scrolling to see this tunic and some other great Fall items to complete your look!Â
Just a heads up that the colorful mules linked above have a furry inside, so I went a full size up (not a half size). I’m usually a size 7 and went all the up to a size 8. They are so cozy and I don’t even wear socks because of how fuzzy they are inside. The booties are more true to size. I have both and they are very comfortable – and they look a lot more expensive than they are! The infinity scarf is a total deal at under $10 and I have it in several colors because of how cheap it is! I wear them a lot and simply loop it over my head for a polished look. My exact hat is linked above as well and is currently $12.99 from Target. I have worn it 3 times already this week because it looks really nice and hides my unwashed mom hair! Haha! Take a look at the various photos of me in this tunic to get an idea of the fit – and the accessories I put with it. Happy Fall Y’all!Â
The leaves are changing and it is stunning! I love this time of the year! Chilly mornings perfect for a hot cup of coffee, and warm afternoons, perfect for an afternoon stroll. To help with this transitional weather, I’m all about layering. As you may have noticed, I’ve been layering cardigans over jeans with tanks or short sleeved tops, dresses, and more. It gives me the option of peeling off layers as the day heats up – and cools back down at night.Â
My latest love is this floral dress. It’s so comfortable, works with mules, booties, and even flip flops – and it flows beautifully! It’s also under $35 and looks great with so many different accessories! This exact dress is linked below, along with my shoes, bag, cardigan and earrings. I’ve linked to a shorter floral option as well as some similar accessories that I love. All of them are budget friendly and perfect as we enter Autumn. My dress comes in several other colors/patterns as well!
For sizing, I’m in a small. I could easily have gone for this dress in an XS but wanted it to be less fitted and more comfy. I would say it fits pretty true to size. Keep scrolling to shop my look – and snag some great finds for a deal! Muah!
Being busy is not unique these days. We’re all super busy, and we’re all doing our best to hold it all together. Something I’ve been really enjoying is playing with Day to Night outfits by adding accents. Little touches that elevate my outfit without much effort. It keeps things simple, keeps me comfy, and means I can make easy swaps when I have almost no time at all! I threw on some extra gold accessories (chunky ring and bangle), red lipstick, and red shoes to jazz up my outfit for date night!
Keep scrolling to score some ideas and some of my fave items that will punch up any casual day outfit – making it fit for a trendy night! My exact jeans (runs big and has free returns), belt (designer look for a TON less), flats (beyond comfy), shirt (runs big) and sunnies are below. My bag sold out but I linked 2 similar ones, along with other fun accessories. You’ll also find a special red lipstick surprise below – that I’m obsessed with! 🙂 Scroll down, DM me on @mommylexiloves on IG if you have questions, and have a wonderful week! Muah!Â
