Happy Mommy Monday! Today I want to talk about Summer. This time of year is my favorite for so many reasons! The sun, family activities, BBQs, long walks with my kids and dogs, and the DRESSES! My collection of sundresses has grown recently – due to way too many cute ones out there! Arg! Why are there so many adorable options!?! The fantastic news is the ones I’ve found and love are a steal!

This is a roundup of my favorite summer dresses, kids outfits and accessories in Red, White and Blue so you can get ready for the 4th of July without breaking the bank! That being said, I like to get the most bang for my buck, so most of my picks can be worn the rest of the summer, not just for the 4th! Read on for details – and ENJOY! XOXO

This cutie linen dress is white with light blue stripes. It’s strapless and has a flounce front that gives it movement. It has an elastic waist and comes with a belt tie in the same fabric – but looks perfect with a belt to as well. I’m short and feel boxy in certain dresses, so a belt was a must for me. The fabric is light and very comfortable. This dress is adorable with wedges or flats – and can be dressed up or down with accessories. I was able to run after Sofia all day in comfort and style! The best part is this dress is only $45! The price and cuteness made it a no brainer for me…because I have such good self control to begin with! 😉

As a side note – I had a bit of a twinning moment with Sofia, who is wearing a Baby Gap white dress with blue stripes. I love matching my little ones when I can – and take full advantage while they are young and willing to match mommy! Ha! For reference, I’m in the size Small.

As for Sofia’s dress, it’s no longer available at the Gap but I found a blue smock dress that is on sale, and a beautiful crochet double layer dress that I’m obsessed with (also on sale)! Both would look so pretty on your little – especially when you’re in this white/blue dress! 🙂

This cutie dress is blue with white stripes. It is off the shoulder, has a flounce front, and a side zip. It has a nice shape that shows off your waist without being too tight, and a comfortable skirt that moves and flows. This dress can easily be dressed up or down, depending on the occasion. 

Did I mention it is only $40 and a total steal! I plan to sport this all Summer long – but it is a win for me that it also works for the 4th! Yay! Just for reference, I’m in a size Small and it is still has room.

Next up is this fun little number in navy. It’s cute, has a very appropriate front, and a fun flirty back! I belted this dress because I like a more defined waist.

It is extremely comfortable and is perfect for a picnic in the park. I wore this to soccer practice for my kiddos and was able to run around with them in the playground and park afterwards. Talk about comfy and cute!

I love the navy color because you can sport this for the 4th just by adding a red statement necklace, bangles, or shoes! You can also wear this all summer long with different accessories. The best part about this dress is that it’s only $42! For reference, I’m wearing a Small. Snag it before it’s no longer in stock!

This is one of my absolute favorite dresses right now! It’s red, white and blue all in one! It’s also off the shoulder, crazy comfy, and has removable straps. The red embroidery is beautiful, and the flouncy sleeves are so cute! Can you tell I’m in love! It’s currently out of stock but I love it so much that I’m including it in this roundup so you can keep an eye out for a restock! If you like these blue stripes with red embroidery, Francesca’s also has some super sweet shorts that are perfect for the 4th! Not to mention they are on sale for under $15 (sale ends on 6/28)!

This fun striped dress and chambray vest were perfect for our outing to visit some farm friends! To me – these stripes and the red, white and blue combo say -Happy 4th!!!!

This t-shirt dress is form fitting but very stretchy and comfortable. The front and back dip down a little bit which is nice for a little extra coverage when you’re running around town (or after kids). The vest is versatile, comfortable, has POCKETS, and can easily be paired with other dresses, skirts, shorts, etc. To me, that is a big win! The dress is a bargain at $36 and the vest is $48. I am sporting a small in both -and they fit perfectly. Comfy, not too tight, with enough room to chase after Gabe and Sofia! Ha!

For a white, light and airy dress – this one may be your pick! It’s currently 40% off at Nordstrom and is so pretty on! It has a tie front (which you can adjust), smocked back that gives it a comfortable fit, a midi-length perfect for a family outing, and a sweet eyelet embroidery to finish it off. I personally don’t think a bra is an option in this dress, so keep that in mind as you look at this design. It’s currently on sale for $53.40 and can truly be worn for almost any Summer occasion! For reference, I’m in an extra small.

This blue and white boho maxi has the prettiest pattern on it! Perfect for Summer, and perfect for the 4th!

It can be dressed up or down, worn with flats, wedges or heels, belted or left alone, and you can add a splash of red to really show off in July!

It is a high-low dress with flutter off the shoulder sleeves and an elastic waist. It’s very flattering on, flows nicely, and is perfect to simply throw on and go! Not to mention it’s only $46!

Truthfully, this would be perfect for a brunch with the girls, lunch with your honey, on vacation, or even a picnic! For reference, I’m sporting a small in this one.

If you’re looking for something with long sleeves, this is it! This seersucker dress is blue and white, super sweet, and has the cutest flounce sleeves! As I’m sure you’ve already noticed, I like belting my dresses to give myself more of a waist, but you don’t have to. I actually think a red belt could be perfect for the 4th and would give this dress a little splash of fun!

It has a zip back, high neck, is light weight, and has a really lovely shape to it. This front view shows the sleeves a little better than the side view. Really cute detail!

This classy little Summer dress is a wonderful option for the 4th, and would pair perfectly with a statement necklace due to the higher neckline. It’s $39 (which is ridiculous for how cute it is) – and I’m wearing the small for reference.

Now for some quick momma accessories!

These faux leather toe ring sandals are super comfy, cute, and look WAY more expensive than they are! I’ve had people ask if I got them at JCrew – which I take as a huge compliment since they are under $10! I love them so much that I got them in 3 colors! And I was able to get them all because they are only $9.90 from Forever 21! Obsessed!!! Please see if you can still snag these – you won’t be sorry! 🙂

I’ve worn these sunnies a lot lately and have gotten a lot of questions about them. They are from Nordstrom and are only $12. I mean – how can you even consider not getting these?

Speaking of another item I’ve worn a lot lately…this belt! It’s 2.5″ wide, leather, has a slim buckle strap, scalloped trim with laser cutouts that give you a tinier looking waist, with a stretchy panel in the back for comfort/fit. I’ve worn this with almost every dress listed in this roundup (as I’m sure you’ve notice – haha), it’s super comfortable, and it looks really pretty! 🙂 Not to mention  it’s 40% off at Nordstrom right now – for $29.40!

Ok party people! Now for some fun options for the kiddos!

If it isn’t already obvious – I love off the shoulder dresses! I found this adorable little red dress for my daughter at Target and it is PERFECT for the 4th! It’s an A-Line eyelet dress by Genuine Kids from OshKosh. The material is soft but sturdy, so it can hold up to a toddler on the go. The shoulders can be worn off the shoulder or on, and the length is perfect so they can run around. I’m in love with this cutie dress – can you tell? It’s currently $19.99 at Target – and seems to fit pretty true to size.

I have to give a shout out to Gymboree for having a fantastic sale right now! The whole store is $12.99 and under (not sure for how much longer) – and it is SO worth checking out! I’ve pulled together a couple outfits (some in this flat lay and some not) using fun items that I got on my last Gymboree visit.

The dress is blue and white with red stars. The back is criss cross (adorable), and it comes with bloomers. Super comfy cotton fabric makes for a perfect dress for your toddlers 4th of July fun in the sun! I got it on sale for $12.99 and it is so worth it!

If your little one prefers shorts and a tank on a hot day – these will do the trick! The shorts are $9.99 on sale, and the top is the same! Super cute, festive, and perfect if it’s super hot out and they want to run and play! Not to mention those popsicle shorts are too cute for words…

These red cargo shorts are wonderful for the 4th! Because they are solid, a lot of different tops can be worn with these shorts so you can get more wear out of them 🙂 I sized up for my son since they have an adjustable waist. I intend to use these a lot! Snagged these on sale for $12.99!

What do you pair with red shorts? A super cute top! This chambray star shirt is fun, festive and can be dressed up or down due to the collar. It’s $12.99 and is a total steal! I’m a big fan of all things chambray…I can’t help myself!

If you want a more versatile shirt that can be used more easily after the 4th, this top is the perfect shade of blue! It’s also a soft and light 100% cotton jersey top – which is perfect for playing outside all day or going to lunch with the fam! This option is currently $9.99 (while sale lasts).

As for accessories, you can get this cutie bracelet for under $5 – and it shouts Happy 4th! They have a crystal one as well that Sofia loves and it matches EVERYTHING!

These star and flag sunglasses are both $5.99 and are perfect for some fun in the sun! 

No roundup would be complete without shoes! 

These little eyelet espadrilles are everything! I’m obsessed – as is my baby girl. In fact, she’s not even 2 and she picked them out herself! #mommasgirl #proudmomma

They are on sale for $12.99 (for now) so snag them ASAP! They match everything and instead of a buckle they used velcro – LOVE!!! They don’t come in half sizes but they do seem to run a tiny bit big so I went with her actual size and there is a little room to grow. Might have to get them in a size larger while they are still on sale (for future use)!
